It is the first ever comprehensive account of discrimination and inequalities on all grounds and in all areas of life in Ukraine. It is based on extensive field research including testimony and case studies from victims of discrimination across Ukraine. After its thorough analysis, the report makes a set of detailed recommendations for reforms to law, policy and practice to ensure equality for all.
In this interview opinions are contrasted on religion and equality between Ahmed Shaheed, Maldivian diplomat and politician and an expert on human rights and advocate for democracy and Eva Brems, Belgian university professor, human rights defender and politician.
