This submission is based on the findings of the Trust’s report on Yemen, From Night to Darker Night: Addressing Discrimination and Inequality in Yemen” (June 2018), which provides a detailed analysis of Yemen’s legal framework on equality alongside discussion of patterns of discrimination based on extensive desk-based research. Given the comprehensive nature of this report, the submission does not reproduce the report’s findings but instead highlights key findings that are relevant to the mandate of the Group of Eminent Experts.
