Two exciting roles at the Equal Rights Trust - Join our London team as Head of Legal and Programmes or Head of Operations

The Equal Rights Trust has two positions available to join our Senior Management team as Head of Legal and Programmes and Head of Operations (part-time).

Head of Legal and Programmes:

We are seeking a highly motivated qualified lawyer to join us as our new Head of Legal and Programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer who is looking to play an instrumental role in the development and growth of an international human rights organisation which focuses on the use of the law to achieve change. You will also use your legal skills and experience to lead the Trust’s strategic litigation and legal services work, ensure the delivery of high-quality legal research and advocacy and strengthen the expertise and capacity of our partners around the world. The role also provides an opportunity to take a central role in growing the organisation, alongside the Director and our Board of Trustees. The role will suit a highly organised individual with experience in human rights/equality law programming and excellent communications and people management skills. Head of Operations (part-time):

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual with initiative and experience, looking to play an instrumental role in the development and growth of an international human rights organisation. In addition to supporting the Co-directors and the Board of Trustees in growing the organisation, you will also use your leadership skills to oversee the Trust’s financial, human resource and office management. The role will suit a highly organised individual with excellent communications skills, who is keen to innovate to help the charity grow.  The working arrangements of this role have been designed to be flexible in order to maximise the possibility that those looking for a part-time role to combine with caring responsibilities or for other reasons, are not excluded from applying. Click here for more information and details of how to apply.
