This submission, made by the Equal Rights Trust, is based on its report providing a comprehensive analysis of discrimination in Ukraine. It examines Ukraine’s compliance with the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, focusing in particular on the enjoyment of rights of minority groups and racially and ethnically discriminatory laws.

Ending Sex Discrimination in Citizenship and Nationality Laws

Written statement from Equality Now and the Equal Rights Trust to the United Nations Human Rights Council concerning the need to reform gender discriminatory nationality laws. The statement highlighted the devastating impact of discriminatory nationality laws on the lives of many women and their families around the world and which called for immediate actions to end such laws.
