The Equal Rights Trust is working with Black Pink Triangle, an LGBT organisation, to document and challenge discrimination affecting different communities in the Aegean and Marmara regions of Turkey. As of July 2015, our work includes: 

• Conducting research for a report on discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and other grounds, including testimonies from victims detailing their experiences.
• Training 60 activists from the Marmara and Aegean Regions of Turkey on international and European equal rights law and standards;
• Supporting a Regional Equality Forum, bringing together organisations working to tackle discrimination against different groups to collaborate in advocacy for LGBT rights.
