The Equal Rights Trust’s work in Croatia is focused on ensuring the implementation of the Anti-Discrimination Act 2008, through support to civil society organisations. Highlights of our impact include:
- Publishing a toolkit for lawyers and civil society on national, European and international equality law, together with guidance on advocacy and litigation.
- Establishing an Equality forum which provides a platform for civil society engagement in the government’s legislative reform programme;
- Supporting civil society to influence the draft Family and Labour Acts, ensuring that these fulfilled the rights to equality and non-discrimination.
